The third section then covers specific disorders such as trauma, acute abdomen and toxicological emergencies in greater detail, and the fourth section presents notes on anaesthesia, transfusion medicine and paediatrics. The book ends with a drug formulary, an appendix of procedures and some multiple choice questions. A number of cases are presented throughout to demonstrate application of the theoretical discussion and there are various clinical tips included.
